More of Emma Playing Tee Ball

We had a great time watching Emma play again last night. I think she and all her teammates had more fun this time because they had the first-game jitters out of the way.
Emma was all over the field trying to chase down every ball that was hit. I wish I had a picture, but she played near second base bag one of the innings. As each player from the other team reached second base, she would give them a high five.
She had a lot of fun hitting too. She loves hitting and running the bases as fast as she can go. So cute!
Way to go Emma!

300th Post & Another Win

Anna Kate's team played again last night and won 11-7. Now, if they can win tonight that would make a clean sweep for the week with three wins.
She is having so much fun with ball this year, and we are super proud of her.
She pitched another great game with 7 strike outs!
I love to watch her and her daddy together. Tim is one of the coaches.
She was lead-off batter.
She got three base hits.

First Game Win!

Anna Kate's team had their first game last night and won 8-3. Anna Kate is the pitcher. She struck out 5 batters and only walked one. She caught one pop fly and two grounders that she threw to first for outs. We are so proud of how well she did pitching for her first game.

Let's Play Ball!

Emma had her first ever t-ball game last night. She did great and is looking forward to the next game. We were proud of her.

Isn't she a cute little ball player?
She enjoyed hitting the best. She got two nice hits.

She did great on defense too. She was a little unhappy at first that no balls were being hit toward her, but she was thrilled when one was finally hit her way and she caught it. Way to go Emma!

Emma's Field Trip

Emma and I had a fun time yesterday going on the kindergarten field trip to Tuscaloosa's Children's Hands On Museum.
Each group went to five stations. Emma's first station was about Indians. She said this was her favorite because she got to make a necklace.
Next they went to grandma's attic where they got to play dress up. The girls all got painted on eye lashes, and the boy's got painted mustaches. Aren't they cute?
Then it was time to play doctor. She loved this, especially getting to walk on crutches.
Then we were off to the beaver dam.
Their final station was the art/music room.
We ended the day with a visit to one of the park's for a picnic lunch. I enjoyed spending the day with her and her friends.

MS Walk

We had fun walking as a family in the MS Walk in honor of our brother-in-law/uncle Brandon. We love ya, Brandon!

Tales from the Crypt

Tim and I took the girls to Tales from the Crypt last night. For those of you who don't know, this is a Columbus Pilgrimage event. MSMS students research people who are buried in Friendship Cemetery and then give a dramatic presentation of their lives. We really enjoyed it.

Easter Projects

The girls had fun this afternoon doing a couple of Easter projects.
First they decorated Easter bunnies.
Aren't they cute?
Then they painted Easter eggs.
They had fun...
...and I think their projects turned out great. BE SURE TO SCROLL DOWN FOR MANY MORE EASTER POSTS!

Easter Family

We had a wonderful Easter service this morning at church followed by a great meal at my mother's with extended family. Here are a few pictures of my family.

Happy Easter

I hope you and your family are having a wonderful Easter and are busy celebrating the real meaning of Easter -- Jesus' love for us demonstrated through His sacrificial dying on the cross and His miraculous resurrection from the grave that we might have eternal life through Him and with Him. These are some pictures I took this weekend of the girls in their Easter dresses. Some were taken at The W with the ornamental cherry trees and some were taken in a beautiful yard downtown.
