Happy Halloween
Here are some pictures of the girls before we left for the fall festival at church. They had so much fun getting dressed up.
Anna Kate dressed up as Sharpay from High School Musical.
Emma dressed up as Sleeping Beauty.
I love this picture of the two of them together. I didn't notice it the first time I looked at it, but look at Emma's leg raised up under her skirt. I think that is so cute.
Fall Festival
Our kids had such a great time at our church's fall festival last night. Here are some of the pictures.
Anna Kate was a pro at the games that involved tossing things. I guess her softball skills came in handy.
Here's Emma jumping up and down because she was so excited that she had "won" one of the games. You can see my SIL Amanda, Anna Kate and my niece Abby in the background. Abby was so cute as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Our other niece and nephews looked so cute too. I wish we could have taken a picture of all of them together.

Crazy Day
Today was Crazy Day (maybe they called it Silly Day) at New Hope for Red Ribbon Week. My girls, including Emma who's still at daycare, really get into these dress up days. It's fun. They had a ball picking out all the accessories to go with their mismatched outfits. I guess this is just a prelude to tomorrow night's fall festival at church when they get to dress up in their Halloween outfits. We can't wait.

Story Board
Top of the Pyramid
Anna Kate had another football game to cheer for Saturday. This one was in Hamilton. During their halftime number, Anna Kate got to be on top of the pyramid again, so I took a picture. She was so excited that she was on top and that her pyramid was in the middle. Emma walked out on the football field with me to take the picture. Afterwards, Emma knelt on the ground with Anna Kate and the rest of the cheerleaders to watch the Hamilton cheerleaders do their routine. Emma thought she was such a big girl.
High School Musical 3
High School Musical 3 was awesome! We had such a great time. Even Tim said it was really good. I understand that the 7:00 showing (which is the one we saw) sold out at 5:30 that evening. I was so glad I bought our tickets early. I highly recommend seeing this movie. I think it is the best of the three movies. I took the shot below right after the movie. The rest of the photos I took after we got home.

Thanks to my SIL Amanda for the matching shirts. Anna Kate has had this HSM shirt for a long time. Friday afternoon Amanda left a bunch of shirts at daycare for Emma to have. My niece Abby has outgrown them. I couldn't believe that one of them was the same one as Anna Kate's. Emma already had another HSM shirt on, but she wanted to change and put this one on to match Anna Kate. I thought it was sweet.

"Guess What I Have?"
That's the question I asked my girls when I got home from work yesterday. They couldn't figure it out, so I told them -- "High School Musical 3 tickets for Friday night." They were so excited. I can't wait to see it too. Even Tim is going. I thought it would be hard to top HSM2, but from the previews, this one will probably be the best. Several of my friends have been calling to ask if Columbus would get the movie for the nationwide premiere weekend, and they said they didn't think so. When I called yesterday, they said they will have it and they had just received the tickets. I decided to buy the tickets early to not take a chance Friday's premiere would be sold out. I bought the first four tickets in Columbus. Here are a couple of pictures of the girls last night with their High School Musical pajamas on and holding their tickets. We are so looking forward to Friday night!

More Cheerleading
Cheetah Girls Concert
We had a blast Friday night at the Cheetah Girls concert. We weren't the only ones. We saw tons of people we knew. The two opening acts, some boy rock band and the Clique Girls, were pretty good, but the Cheetah Girls were fabulous. It was definitely worth the trip. The singing, dancing, costumes, props, and stage were so good. We had so much fun singing and dancing along. The only glitch to the evening is they wouldn't let me in at the ticket door because of my camera. They said no cameras were allowed with detachable lenses. (I can't wait to get my new point and shoot camera for Christmas for situations just like this.) I had to call Tim to come back to the arena and get the camera. He had dropped us off. I was so disappointed because I was really looking forward to taking pictures, especially since we were just a few rows from the stage. Thankfully my SIL Amanda and niece Abby weren't sitting too far from us so Amanda took a couple of pictures of us. Thanks Amanda!

How about those Lady Trojans!
In addition to loving playing softball, Anna Kate loves to watch it too. We have enjoyed so much watching the New Hope Lady Trojans play slow pitch softball this season. And they are awesome! With a current record of 26-2, they are District Champs, and last night they won two games against Neshoba Central to earn the North State Championship title and a chance to play Saturday for the State Championship title. They are unbelievably good. Their defense is almost perfect, and each player in the lineup can hit really well. I think Anna Kate has learned a great deal from watching them play. She has been wearing her softball jersey to the games because they let her in free with it on. She wanted me to wear mine last night. I was surprised it was still in good shape. It's almost 20 years old! Anyway, I couldn't resist taking a few shots before we walked to the bleachers. These are not real good. I took the two pictures of us together myself. My arms just aren't long enough for that. It has brought back a lot of great memories watching them play. We are looking forward to watching them play fast pitch in the spring, but for now we are wishing them the best of luck in the championship series Saturday. Go Lady Trojans!

Sneak Peak
My girls are really looking forward to Halloween this year. They have had the best time picking out their costumes and accessories. I think they have dressed up dozens of times already. Below is a sneak peak at what they will be wearing. We don't trick or treat. Instead, we have a blast at our church's fall festival. I hope you all will come and bring your kids. Mt. Zion's fall festival is scheduled for Thursday, October 30, from 6-8 p.m. It is held outside. We have tons of games with candy and prizes, a hot dog supper, hayrides with scenes from the Bible acted out, pony rides, and much more. It is free, and the community is invited.
