Anna Kate is the pitcher for the New Hope Slowpitch Softball Junior Varsity Team. She and her teammates are having a great season. Here are some pictures from a recent game.



Catching Up

I have been very lazy on making posts on my blog. Here are few recent photos.

Anna Kate parcipated in a high school soccer camp with her teammates. She had a great time.

This past Friday night was Homecoming. Leading up to that, the school had a different dress up theme each day. Emma participated in each day. Here's a photo from Career Day. Yes, my diva daughter wants to be a rock star when she grows up.

Friday was Black and Gold Day.

Emma is a Pee Wee Cheerleader. The uniforms aren't in yet but should be here in time for next Saturday's game.

Soccer in the Rain

This is what you look like if you practice soccer for nearly two hours in the pouring rain. She thought it was fun, but I thought it was pretty ridiculous!

New Hope's slowpitch softball season started last weekend. Anna Kate is the second baseman for the junior varsity team and pitches some too.

Back to School

I can't believe summer is over and the first day of school is already here. Anna Kate is in the eighth grade, and Emma is in the third grade.

Emma's Baptism

Our sweet Emma was baptized this morning along with two other children. It was such a special moment for her!

Father's Day

Better late than never...Here's Tim and our girls from Father's Day.

Anna Kate's Last Tournament

This past weekend was Anna Kate's travel team's last tournament of the summer. It was the USSSA World Tournament in Tupelo. They finished tied for seventh. I think Anna Kate's team played in eight tournaments this summer -- six fast pitch and the last two slow pitch. With Emma playing now too, our girls played in tournaments seven weekends in a row. It was a lot of fun, but we are tired. But no time for rest! Anna Kate has been participating in New Hope Softball's 2A Days this week in preparation for the fall slow pitch season. The first games are in three weeks.

Anna Kate pitched all six games they played this past weekend and did a great job!

She made a bunch of great defensive plays too.

Anna Kate was the lead-off batter and a did a really good job. I was proud of all the hits she got.

Public Profession

Emma invited Jesus into her heart a couple of weeks ago at Children's Camp. This morning at church she made her public profession of faith and joined the church. Another special moment for her!
