We took our annual trip to Tuscaloosa to take the girls to Chuck E. Cheese's for pizza and games and then to Michael's to buy teachers gifts for next Christmas. It was a fun day, and we were glad that Meme was able to go with us.
This is the anniversary card I made for Tim from two of the photos Anna Kate made of us. I think I may have a junior photographer on my hands. She did great, didn't she? And I just love how cute the card turned out. Happy 16th Anniversary, Tim! I love you!!!
This is our Christmas Card for 2010. I did it through Shutterfly, and I think they did a good job. The pictures of the girls in their Christmas dresses were taken at Lake Lowndes. I will post more of those soon. The family picture, which was posted right after Thanksgiving, was taken at Plymouth Bluff using a tripod.
This is the back of the card. I had this one extra picture of Tim and I that wouldn't fit on the front. It is our anniversary picture, and I will post more of those on Friday for our anniversary.
We had a lot of great Christmas music at our church yesterday.
In the morning service, the Adult Choir did their musical, and the Children's Choir joined them in a few of the songs. Emma is part of the Children's Choir.
The Children's Choir will do their own musical next Sunday night. It should be great too.
The Youth Choir led the evening services with Christmas music. Anna Kate is part of the Youth Choir.
As you can see, our church is decorated with poinsettias. So pretty! I couldn't resist a few shots. If the poinsettias are still there next Sunday, I hope to take a few more in their dresses. I had to shoot these in their choir outfits.
Emma's GA group went Christmas caroling last night. It was such a cold night for this, but they all had a great time, and I'm sure the six elderly people that they sang to were glad to have them do this. Such a nice outreach opportunity.
Emma's school has reached model school because of AR reading, so today they had a parade to celebrate. The children were encouraged to dress in their favorite storybook character. Emma dressed up as Pinkalicious. This wasn't a hard thing to do since she loves pink and has lots of pink things, including the pink clothes, tutu skirt, fairy wings, wand and ribbons for her hair. It was lots of fun getting her all dressed up this morning, and I know she will have a lot of fun today.

Praise God for saving me by His grace and blessing me with Tim, my wonderful husband of 19 years, and our two healthy, beautiful little girls, Anna Kate (age 15) and Emma Frances (age 10). I am so thankful for my parents, other family members, and tons of great friends. God has surely blessed me with many special people in my life. I love digital photography, digital scrapbooking, and blogging. I also enjoy shopping, antiquing, collecting jewelry, watching our girls play softball, reading, listening to country music, and watching American Idol. Mainly, I just love life. God is good!
