Chuck E. Cheese's Visit

We took our annual trip to Tuscaloosa to take the girls to Chuck E. Cheese's for pizza and games and then to Michael's to buy teachers gifts for next Christmas. It was a fun day, and we were glad that Meme was able to go with us.

Christmas Day

Here are pictures of our Christmas Day activities.
The girls seeing what Santa left for them.
Checking out the snow at our house before heading to grandparents' houses.
A stop at my parents' house.
And then to Tim's parents' house. Also a visit with Granny Frances.
The girls with their Christmas bears from Granny and Granddaddy.
Our family at Christmas.

Christmas Eve

Here are pictures of our Christmas Eve activities.
Making and putting out the reindeer food.
Making cookies for Santa and getting his special key ready.
A couple of views of our Christmas tree.
A little creativity with Christmas lights.
And some neat pictures with two candy canes.

And finally some portraits in front of the tree -- including some goofing off before some good ones.

Last one before going to bed.

Emma's Choir Program

Here are pictures from Emma's Children's Choir Program last night.
They sang tons of Christmas carols and performed the story of Jesus' birth.
Emma was one of the angels.

So proud of our little angel.

Various Pictures from Yesterday

Here are several pictures taken yesterday.
This picture was taken at church with the poinsettias.
Our family after church when we arrived at Tim's parents for a family gathering.

Anniversary Pictures

Our anniversary pictures. Love this man!

Happy Anniversary

This is the anniversary card I made for Tim from two of the photos Anna Kate made of us. I think I may have a junior photographer on my hands. She did great, didn't she? And I just love how cute the card turned out. Happy 16th Anniversary, Tim! I love you!!!

Our Christmas Card

This is our Christmas Card for 2010. I did it through Shutterfly, and I think they did a good job. The pictures of the girls in their Christmas dresses were taken at Lake Lowndes. I will post more of those soon. The family picture, which was posted right after Thanksgiving, was taken at Plymouth Bluff using a tripod.

This is the back of the card. I had this one extra picture of Tim and I that wouldn't fit on the front. It is our anniversary picture, and I will post more of those on Friday for our anniversary.

Christmas Music and Poinsettias

We had a lot of great Christmas music at our church yesterday.
In the morning service, the Adult Choir did their musical, and the Children's Choir joined them in a few of the songs. Emma is part of the Children's Choir.
The Children's Choir will do their own musical next Sunday night. It should be great too.
The Youth Choir led the evening services with Christmas music. Anna Kate is part of the Youth Choir.

As you can see, our church is decorated with poinsettias. So pretty! I couldn't resist a few shots. If the poinsettias are still there next Sunday, I hope to take a few more in their dresses. I had to shoot these in their choir outfits.

Christmas Caroling

Emma's GA group went Christmas caroling last night. It was such a cold night for this, but they all had a great time, and I'm sure the six elderly people that they sang to were glad to have them do this. Such a nice outreach opportunity.

Storybook Parade

Emma's school has reached model school because of AR reading, so today they had a parade to celebrate. The children were encouraged to dress in their favorite storybook character. Emma dressed up as Pinkalicious. This wasn't a hard thing to do since she loves pink and has lots of pink things, including the pink clothes, tutu skirt, fairy wings, wand and ribbons for her hair. It was lots of fun getting her all dressed up this morning, and I know she will have a lot of fun today.

Visit with Santa

The girls had a great time visiting with Santa recently. Thanks to the O'Bryant crew for making these pictures possible.
