A Couple of Pictures

We have had a busy few weeks, mostly because of softball. Anna Kate did an awesome job the other night playing second base for New Hope.

We love softball, but we were pretty happy to have a free weekend this weekend. The girls and I did a bunch of stuff like taking our Easter pictures, shopping for shoes and accessories for Anna Kate's upcoming middle school dance, shopping at the Friends of the Library sale and eating at Smackers.

Anna Kate had her first "date" tonight. She and her boyfriend Trevor watched "The Hunger Games," and it was a great movie.

Spring Flowers

It's spring break for the girls this week. We were all over Columbus doing fun stuff today, including checking out the pretty spring flowers at MUW.

Softball

Softball is in full swing for us. Anna Kate is playing on New Hope's fast pitch team. The season is off to a great start. She also was selected to play on a fast pitch travel team, and we signed her up for 12-under fast pitch in the park. Practice has begun for those teams. Most weeks she plays or practices Monday through Saturday for New Hope, and then practices with her travel team on Sunday afternoons. Emma is playing coach pitch in the park, and Tim is her team's coach. Their practices will begin next week. As you can see, we are going to be busy with softball this year.
