We had a great time at the Market Street Festival today. The weather looked a little ify this morning, but it turned out fine. We had fun walking around visiting with people we know, and the girls also saw many "characters" walking the streets.
The highlight of the day for us was the annual Animal Planet reptile show. We all enjoyed seeing the variety of snakes, but Emma really got into it. She wanted to touch every snake. The python in the picture below was huge.
Then she really got brave and let the man put one of the snakes around her neck. I believe this was a small python.
The girls got balloons, tatoos, and did art projects, including making paper at the Weyerhaeuser booth. That's what Anna Kate is doing in the picture below.
It was a fun day. We were there for more than three hours and, believe it or not, we didn't spend any money. Cheap entertainment.
