The kids and I have been hoping for snow. When the weather reports last night were calling for snow, we tried not to get our hopes up. We were thrilled when we woke up to this site this morning -- a beautiful snow.
We waited for the snow to stop, and then we went out for about an hour to just enjoy. We checked out the front of the house, but we found the back had the best snow.
How about a snow fight?
Or let's build a snowman?
Our snowman ended up very small because the snow was just too cold on our hands. We also discovered the snow stuck to our boots and left bare ground below.
It was fun to play in it, but it was sad to see the beautiful blanket of snow get all messed up.
They mainly loved exploring to see where they could find the thickest snow. The best spot was Tim's flat trailer.
They couldn't wait to get on top of the trailer to play.
One of the last things we did before giving in to the cold was make snow angels.
I had a blast watching our snow angels having so much fun with a rare Mississippi snow.
Until next year.
